This Summer Cantonites can look forward to two new outstanding restaurants on the waterfront. Both have excellent food. Both have outdoor dining. Both have a beautiful view. AND, both have similar names… which seems to confuse people. So, we took an afternoon to chat with the teams at Raw Bar and Raw & Refined to learn a little more about each establishment.

Brandon M. Scott was unanimously elected President of the City Council by members of the City Council in May 2019. Previously President Scott served as the City Councilmember representing Baltimore City’s 2nd District. He is a community leader, public servant and lifelong resident of Baltimore City.

In April, volunteers gathered to give the Canton Dog Park a refresh. Led by chair Jayne Miller they tidied up the park and replaced older, broken furniture with new chairs. And, thanks to one of our volunteers, they are addressing the fountain area on the big dog side so it doesn't so easily double as a muddy bath! Jayne says that during the cleanup a woman from out of town stopped to look at the park and said, "It is so much better than ours in Arlington, (Va)."
