Baltimore Women’s Empowerment Summit Links Self-Love and Community

The first Loving It All: We’re Not Afraid of Your Messy Parts women’s empowerment summit, hosted by Sarah Curnoles and Mysohi Smith, will be held on June 9 at Church on the Square in Canton.

Loving It All: We’re Not Afraid of Your Messy Parts is an event to awaken more self-love, compassion, and self-celebration while also connecting with a community of women. The event welcomes women of all kinds, all women of color, trans-women, non-binary peoples, women with various physical abilities, sex workers, conservatives, atheists, Queer, and all body types.

Baltimore native and life coach Sarah Curnoles approached sexual empowerment educator Myoshi Smith on Instagram with an idea to create an event to celebrate sisterhood and lift local women. Together, the duo identified a need for women to have a safe place to gather in community and let down their guards so they can begin to see all of their own inner and outer beauty.

“Women in Baltimore are hungry for community right now, and I see more women investing in their personal growth. I noticed that women are more likely to compliment what’s great about everyone, but rarely compliment themselves,” says event co-founder Sarah Curnoles. “I wanted to create an environment where women can celebrate each other and then also leave inspired to be courageously loving and accepting with who they are.”

“The goal is for women to walk in the door, have a great time and feel inspired, and to leave feeling lighter. They can put down a weight that they didn’t even know they were carrying,” shared Smith.

The event will feature networking opportunities, vendors with female-centric business, inspirational speakers and a body positivity panel. Lunch will be provided.

Loving It All will take place on June 9 from 1:00pm-4:30pm at Church on the Square at 1025 South Potomac Street Baltimore, MD 21224. Tickets are $35. Sponsorship and vendor opportunities are also available. For tickets and more info, please visit https://bit.ly/2Yv7EVI
