Sail250 Maryland & Airshow Baltimore Features Fleets, Flights and Fun!

Baltimore will take center stage in America’s 250th anniversary celebration as Sail250® Maryland & Airshow Baltimore arrives June 24–30, 2026, for a free, family-friendly week of events across the city and region. Presented by Northrop Grumman, the celebration will bring sailors and aviators from around the world together in the universal fellowship of freedom, camaraderie, and spirit of international cooperation that has long been a hallmark of maritime tradition.

Events and activities will take place throughout Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Baltimore Peninsula, and Martin State Airport, offering residents and visitors a chance to experience one of the city’s largest waterfront celebrations in recent history.

FLEET
U.S. and international naval vessels, U.S. Coast Guard ships, classic vessels and schooners, and towering tall ships from around the world will arrive in Baltimore for the celebration. Many vessels will be open for free public tours during the event at locations throughout the city, giving visitors a rare opportunity to step aboard historic and active ships from across the globe. Participating in this momentous event will be 14 tall ships from around the world, United States Navy vessels (USS Marinette- LCS 25; USS Arlington- LPD 24 and Yard Patrol craft from the U.S. Naval Academy), a Royal Canadian Navy ship (AOPV), Coast Guard vessels, and sea service vessels. Many of these vessels are part of Sail250®, a fivecity semiquincentennial (250th) commemorative tour featuring a traveling flotilla of military and international tall ships sailing from New Orleans to Norfolk, to Baltimore, to New York, and concluding in Boston.

In addition to these ships, event goers will be able to enjoy hometown favorites like the Pride of Baltimore II, Maryland Dove, Midred Belle, Sigsbee, Lady Maryland and Historic Ships in Baltimore vessels USS Constellation, Lightship 116 Chesapeake, submarine USS Torsk, US Coast Guard Cutter 37, and the Seven-Foot Knoll Lighthouse.

FLIGHTS
Visitors can experience a thrilling airshow featuring the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Team, the Blue Angels, along with aviation flyovers and demonstrations. The skies above Baltimore will become part of the celebration as military and civilian aircraft showcase precision flying and aviation excellence throughout the week.

The SAIL250® Baltimore Airshow will take place from noon to 4 on Saturday and Sunday, June 27 and 28. Friday, June 26 is a practice day. Spectators can watch from the Canton Waterfront Park and stream the airshow audio narration to their phones or smart speakers. DETAILS

FESTIVALS
Vibrant waterfront festivals across Baltimore City and County will feature live music, food and drink, maritime-themed vendors, family activities, and local makers. STEM & LIVING HISTORY
Hands-on STEM experiences and living history activities at the Inner Harbor will connect visitors to maritime innovation, exploration, and America’s naval heritage. Educational exhibits and interactive programming will provide opportunities for families and students to learn more about science, engineering, navigation, and maritime history in engaging and accessible ways.
