/Two Rivers Park Clean Up
Thank you to volunteers who join the Fall Clean Up at Two Rivers Park. Volunteers weeded, mulched and also installed a new Dog Waste station sponsored by the CCA. The park is located on the 900 block between Curley and Potomac.

Lighted Boat Parade
Kick off the holiday season at the 37th Annual Lighted Boat Parade on December 6 at Anchorage Marina at 2502 Boston Street. The party begins at 5pm, followed by a spectacular parade of festively decorated vessels lighting up the Inner Harbor. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to support the Exchange Club of Southeast Baltimore’s Fill the Square Holiday Toy Drive for local families and children in need. Presented by Anchorage Marina, Sail Baltimore, and Pussers Landing. Promoted by Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore.
Highlandtown Train Garden
A SE Baltimore holiday tradition continues. The Highlandtown Train Garden is FREE to the public and is located at Engine House #41 at 520 S. Conkling St. Open from 11 am to 5 pm on weekends Nov. 29-Dec. 21, then open daily from Dec. 22-Jan. 1. Closed on Dec. 25, 2025. Music on the Square
Join us for Music on the Square “From China to Appalachia” on Friday, December 12 at 7:30 pm. Two-time GRAMMY® Award winners Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer join forces with renowned Chinese hammered dulcimer (yangqin) player Chao Tian for an extraordinary evening of music that crosses cultures and continents. Together they explore the resonances between Appalachian traditions and Chinese classical music, weaving in songs and sounds from around the world on banjos, ukulele, guitar, mandolin, dumbek, and yangqin. $25. Exchange Club Scholarship Program
The Exchange Club of Highlandtown-Canton is now accepting applications for its 2025-2026 college scholarship program. The scholarship will be awarded to one college-bound high school senior who lives in East or Southeast Baltimore (within zip codes 21224, 21231, 21205, or 21202). The decision of whom to award the scholarship is based on a combination of financial need, demonstration of exemplary citizenship, service, and good character. Applications are accepted through January 31, 2026 for qualifying high school seniors to apply. The winner will be announced in the Spring of 2025. APPLY HERE. DPW Leaf and Christmas Tree Collection
Leaf collection season continues through January 9, 2024. Bagged leaves (up to 5 bags) are collected on regularly scheduled trash collection days. Residents can call 311 to schedule special Monday pickups of up to 20 bags of leaves. Christmas Tree pick up will also be available - info at https://publicworks.baltimorecity.gov/.

The Baltimore City Police Department asks neighbors to report crimes via this TIP email: SEDtips@baltimorepolice.org. Security camera footage and photos should be included.
