Canton Memories featuring Barbara Mikulski and Antonia Keane

Join the Annual Friends of the Canton Library Canton Memories event, featuring Retired Senator Barbara Mikulski and Antonia Keane, retired Loyola University Sociology Professor and expert on grassroots women activists. Jayne Miller, WBAL's Emmy Award-winning reporter will moderate a discussion of the impact and influence of women on Southeast Baltimore's grassroots efforts then and now. We are honored to have these two amazing women share their experiences with us. 

The meeting will be held on Saturday, February 27th at 2pm at the Dnipro Ukranian Club, 3101 O'Donnell Street. Thank you to the Dnipro Ukranian Club for your support!

Poe Times Two!

Friends of the Canton Library presents Poe, Times Two!

On Friday, October 13, 2017 at 7 PM, join us for one-man plays adapted from the classic stories "The Cask of Amontillado" and "The Black Cat" by Edgar Allen Poe. This is a must-see event for mystery and horror fans! Suitable for ages 12 and up.
