Alma Cocina Latina is a Venezuelan restaurant, located in the Can Company, with an amazing arepa bar (the first in Baltimore!) and a superb menu inspired by Venezuelan culinary roots using contemporary techniques.

Want to get some exercise, meet your neighbors, learn about public safety, and create a more close-knit community? Join the monthly Canton COP Walk (COP stands for Citizens on Patrol), held the third Tuesday of each month.

Canton is known for its amazing quality of life, and the CCA has always believed that same quality of life should extend to our four-legged friends as well. That’s why, in 2002, we created the first off-leash dog park in the city! We encourage everyone to bring their dogs to play, socialize, and enjoy some safe, off-leash time outdoors.

The book Beyond the White Marble Steps: A Look at Baltimore Neighborhoods, stoop sitting is described as “the activity of sitting on the front steps of one’s row house with or without a favorite beverage, and conversing with neighbors and passers-by."

Light Night Canton, an interactive night of light, music and family fun in celebration of Light City Baltimore, was held with great success on April 21 in O’Donnell Square. From giggling children and smiling seniors to dancing adults and skating teens—and everything in between—it truly shined a spotlight on the positive energy that happens when a community comes together.
