New Business Spotlight: Pusser’s Landing Brings Tropical Vibes to Canton Waterfront
/Say hello to Pusser’s Landing, a vibrant British-Caribbean–inspired bar and restaurant now open at Lighthouse Point! Pusser’s serves up bold tropical flavors, fresh local seafood, and handcrafted cocktails in a fun, laid-back setting. Whether you're coming by boat or strolling the Canton promenade, it’s the perfect destination for lunch, dinner, or happy hour.
The restaurant is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a well-rounded menu that offers something for everyone. From start to finish, the food was super tasty, and the attentive service made the experience even better. The waterfront setting is a true highlight, with a patio for dining and a floating dock bar perfect for enjoying cocktails outdoors, whether you're soaking up the sun or sipping under the stars.
CCA President Amanda Bourgeois, Co-Marketing Chair Julie M. Kichline, and Board Member Deborah Manarin stopped by during opening week to welcome Pusser’s to the neighborhood and to sample the Caribbean-inspired cuisine.

Pusser’s Rum isn’t just featured on the menu—it’s their very own brand, distilled in Guyana using traditional pot stills. The rum is blended to achieve a rich, all-natural flavor using molasses sourced from the historic Demerara River Valley—often referred to as the “Valley of Navy Rum.” Learn more about their legacy at pussersrum.com.
Co-owners Jim Lepley and Christopher Townsend, both veterans of the original Annapolis location, bring deep experience and local pride to this new venture. The expansive 15,000-square-foot space seats more than 350 guests and is expected to create over 100 jobs in the community.
Jim Lepley shared, “After 30 years of providing food, fun and Pusser's Rum in Annapolis, we couldn't be more excited for Pusser's Landing to be starting a new chapter here in Canton. Lighthouse Point Marina is a beautiful location, and with the help of local Canton businesses JP2 Architects and Urban Built Contracting, we've transformed the restaurant space to feel like it's always been Pusser's. The community has been welcoming and amazing, and it already feels like home. We look forward to meeting everyone and sharing our great food, world famous Pusser's Painkiller's and waterfront views of Baltimore with you all for many years to come.”
