Two River Park - What's Next

"OK, so, like, isn't the park finished?  You've got the path installed, some lighting overhead, some new trees, grass planted, some lovely plants, benches, a cool trash can, yadda yadda yadda.  What the heck is next?"

Excellent question.  Currently, we're in the planning stages for "Phase III" of the park.  What's that, you ask?  Read on:

• We plan on discussing getting a dedicated water source installed by the City similar to what we have at the Canton Dog Park (thanks to the efforts of Delegate Hammen and Councilman Kraft).  
• We plan on working with BGE to discuss the purchase and installation of electrical service to light the park entrances.  We would like to see four ground lights (two for each side) and make the park brighter and more attractive at night without being intrusive to and on the immediate neighbors.  
• We need to design, purchase, and mount "Two Rivers Park" signs at both entrances.
• We need to hang our new "Clean Up After Your Pet" sign (we already have one Dog Park, thank you!). 
  

Park maintenance is setup by the immediate neighbors adjacent to the park.  Generally speaking, park maintenance is a group event, done one evening monthly from March through October and as needed in the winter.  For more information or to if you want to help out in any way, please e-mail us!
